Business-to-Consumer Response List

Below is an example of a Business-to-Consumer Response list.
Response lists are names of people who have responded to a previous direct mail offer. Since these people are much more targeted to specific “offers”, the list will be more expensive than a compiled list. Most response lists will offer “Recency” (when a person responded), “Frequency” (how many times a person responded), and “Monetary value” (how much money they spent when they responded). These are call the “RFM” selections and are used by most catalog companies, and other merchandise mailers to target avid mail order buyer/responders.
